If you are into watching light-hearted series, you cannot miss Hostel Daze. And, honestly speaking, it is an addictive series. Either you haven’t watched it all or you’ve watched it over and over again. The series follows the story of four college friends, namely, Jaat, Jhantoo, Ankit, and Chirag (Luv), and Jaat (Shubham Gaur). and their hostel life. 5. Gullak | Sony Liv | 2019

Santosh Mishra is an employee at electricity division living a simple life with his family. The family’s struggles, banter, and experiences are ordinary. Yet, it feels very refreshing and different. You’ll love watching Santosh and family going about their daily duties and chores only occasionally interrupted by Bittu ki mummy and temporary setbacks. Yes, it reminds of Panchayat but also of the bygone 90s era, in a sweet way.

6. Kota Factory | Netflix | 2019

The series is set in the coaching hub for IIT entrance- Kota, Rajasthan. When 16-Year-old Vaibhav moves to Kota to prepare for his IIT entrance, he feels intense pressure navigating academics, friendships and life.
