Why is the OTT release delayed?
There are two reasons for the film’s OTT release delay.
- Strong box office performance:
The film has made over ₹1200 crore so far, with strong continued theatrical attendance. As a result, the makers are in no rush for an OTT release.
- IPL factor:
The makers plan to launch it after the IPL season to avoid competing with IPL’s massive viewership and maximise attention for Dhurandhar 2.
Dhurandhar 2 OTT Release: When and Where to Watch
Dhurandhar 2, unlike the first film, will not release on Netflix. The OTT platform slated for the release of Dhurandhar 2 is JioHotstar.
The official release date has neither been announced nor confirmed. However, speculations are rife that the film will be released around the last week of May or the first week of June 2026.
Cast and Plot
The film has been directed by Aditya Dhar. Most of the cast reprise their original roles with Ranveer Singh in the prime role. Other stars include Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun.
The film follows undercover agent Hamza as he gets to the roots of a terror network in a neighbouring country. He destroys and disrupts it once and for all. However, it is the ending of the film that has the audience awestruck.
