Recently, Paramount Pictures and producer John Cohen have announced the release of the third Angry Birds movie in 2027. It will have the same voice cast for the main characters as in the previous film. And there would be some new voices too. John Rice is the director, and the music is by Heitor Pereira.

The Angry Birds Movie 3 producer, John Cohen, shared the details of the upcoming film on social media. He talked about the production, release date, and voice cast of the film.
The voice of the lead characters will remain the same as the previous film. It will be played by, namely, Red (Jason Sudeikis), Chuck (Josh Gad), Silver (Rachel Bloom) and Bomb (Danny McBride). The new voice cast includes Emma Myers, Keke Palmer, Tim Robinson, Marcello Hernandez, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, Sam Richardson, Lily James, Walker Scobell, Anna Cathcart, James Austin Johnson, and Psalm West.
The Angry Birds Movie 3 will release worldwide on January 29, 2027.
Unlike the first two films of the franchise, which were distributed by Sony Pictures, it will be distributed globally by Paramount Pictures.
The first film had a massive collection of $352 million worldwide. However, the second film could not keep the numbers rolling at the global box office. The total collection of both the films is around $500 million worldwide.
The films are based on the popular Angry Birds game. The first film explored the theme of rivalry between the pigs and the birds. However, The Angry Birds Movie 2 diluted the main theme of the game. The archrivals, the birds and pigs, were playing on the same team. Now, the anticipation with the third film remains around this friendship of pigs and birds. “Do you think this birds-and-pigs friendship will last—or has it already hit its peak?”
Rovio and SEGA are the main producers.
